Worth a visit. Interesting well. Cure for eye problems. Ample parking and public lights . Very old well with lots of history.Many local people have lots of faith in this well.
3 consecutive visits are to be made to the well at sunset or 'on the edge of darkness' as we were told. Bathe in the water and traditionally leave the items used for the bathing or another personal item. The well wasn't too hard to find although we did drive past it and had to turn but a sat nav should get you there! Parking is on the road opposite the well and a chair is available for those with poor mobility next to the well which is also caged in for safety but the water is easily accessible. It looks like there are stations of the cross on the other side of the road too.
Quite hard to find for those who are unfamiliar with the area. Not really an attraction as such but interesting to visit as a "working holy well" that locals visit and those with eyesight problems travel to use. A link to our past.
